SEPTEMBER TRIPS: SELECTED JUST FOR YOU

A 10-day journey exploring the world’s most famous pilgrimage route, taking in must-see stops such as Bilbao, Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela, León, Burgos, and Madrid.

A Side of Spain You’ve Never Seen Before: Nordic Landscapes, Oysters, and Spirituality.

The Spiritual Side of Spain. Spain is known around the world for its nightlife, its passionate spirit, and the hospitality of its people. Tapas, tree-lined avenues, smiles, and days that stretch out between aperitifs, museums, and squares: this is the most common image, and it’s certainly all true. There is, however, a more intimate side to this playful and gracious country—a backbone that, once we leave the capital, Madrid, with its elegant boulevards and festive atmosphere behind, leads us northward along an unprecedented spiritual and artistic journey.

A journey into the soul. Let’s talk about the Camino de Santiago, the route that—like a pulsating artery of history, art, and traditions—crosses northern Spain and reaches the Atlantic Ocean. Our ten-day trip will be a unique and exciting experience, filled with moments dedicated to nurturing the soul and spirit, including visits to Spain’s most famous cathedrals and basilicas, with a special focus on the landscape, traditions, and culinary delights.

Authentic flavors. A toast with the region’s excellent red wine and a plate of local seafood and oysters is a must: in this mystical and authentic region, the sea serves as both a boundary and a source of nourishment for body and soul, and the Atlantic finds its way into homes, streets, and churches, where the shell becomes a symbol of redemption. In short, everything about this trip will transport us into a dreamlike world, far removed from the cliché of a Spain that’s all sunshine and tapas, allowing us to discover another side of the country—one that’s more intimate and quiet.
