SEPTEMBER TRIPS: SELECTED JUST FOR YOU
A 12-day journey through the iconic sights of the American West, visiting must-see destinations such as Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, Las Vegas, and San Francisco.
In the America of dreams and boundless horizons.
On the road. It feels as though we’ve always known the national parks of the American Southwest, stretching from Las Vegas to the California coast. Some of the symbols of the West, of wide-open spaces, and of freedom come from these windswept lands and from motorcyclists in studded leather vests. Who hasn’t dreamed, at least once in their life, of photographing and making their own the shield-shaped icon of Route 66—the quintessential symbol of travel—or the sparkling diamond that has always welcomed visitors to Las Vegas, the city without rules or sunrises?
In the Wild West. Along roads that seem to go on forever, some of the most beautiful vistas in the United States stretch out along its asphalt spine: the palette of colors at Bryce Canyon or the rock formations at Zabriskie Point at dawn, the sheer cliffs of the Grand Canyon, the refreshing shade of Sequoia National Park, and the cobalt-blue waters of Lake Powell. We’ll visit towns abandoned by cowboys, have dinner at quaint diners, and pass by abandoned gas stations along rusty railroad tracks, amid memories of freight trains and Native Americans on horseback.
Just like in a movie. It will be a journey that straddles wonder and confirmation, between cinema and reality. An intense and unforgettable tour through the vast landscapes of America is truly a daydream come true, and we’ll make it a reality. Amid the clatter of slot machines and the ever-present spectacle of street performers in rebellious Las Vegas, or on the streets of Flagstaff where the echo of our footsteps sounds like a showdown from a Western movie, we’ll finally feel like the protagonists of a road movie written and starring only us.
