A land full of surprises. People choose to visit Normandy—the most secluded and least flashy of France’s regions—for only the best reasons: nature, elegance, history, and excellent cuisine. A tour designed for discerning and demanding travelers who want to discover the beauty, stories, and secrets of a destination that is not easily accessible, but one that generously rewards those who find the key to understanding and loving it.
Art, villages, and cliffs. The entire Normandy coastline exudes a magnetic, almost archaic charm, battered by a turbulent and wild sea, tamed only by cliffs that look like alabaster. Behind it is a hinterland of meadows, picturesque villages and resounding cathedrals, where the long shadows of the northern sun bring out the inlaid glass of rose windows and majestic facades. A region beloved by internationally renowned painters such as Monet, Gauguin, and Pissarro, who immortalized the facades of the houses in Rouen and the small neighboring towns in their paintings.
Fragments of History. Alongside all this beauty—and to add to its emotional impact and sense of realism—we will visit the iconic sites of a tragic and recent chapter in contemporary history: the Landing Beaches, with their white crosses, plaques, and monuments, serve as a reminder of humanity’s mistakes. On these beaches, we’ll witness the most spectacular sunsets you can imagine, reminding us that beauty, like history, remains an example and a gift—in some places more than others. This tour is available in both coach and flight formulas. You can choose to leave by bus, reaching the departure point from your city via one of our shuttles, or leave by plane and join the rest of the group directly at your destination.
You can make your travel experience even more personal by adding an extension of a few days at the beginning or end of the tour. We then always provide some optional excursions for an even more flexible experience.
At the start of the trip, the tour guide will collect the mandatory fee, which amounts to approximately €48–56 per person for the bus option and €35–42 per person for the flight option. This amount includes entrance fees to museums, monuments and any taxes to be paid locally. It should also be noted that gratuities for the driver and escort are not included; while not mandatory, they are appreciated as recognition for the quality of work performed. Starting September 1, 2025, the Bayeux Tapestry Museum will be closed for restoration; a walking tour of Bayeux is planned in its place.
