The trip takes place in the upper Indus Valley in Ladakh, at over 3,000 meters above sea level, and uses the best services available locally.

Participation fees include:
- Domestic flights in India from Delhi to Leh and back (special fare to be reconfirmed)
- 15 kg checked baggage allowance on domestic flights in India (Usd 7 per extra kg)
