SEPTEMBER TRIPS: SELECTED JUST FOR YOU

14 days to discover Peru’s legendary landmarks and natural wonders, visiting magical places such as Lima, Arequipa, the Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and the Rainbow Mountains.

Among the peaks of the Andes, amid rediscovered wonders and rainbows in the mountains.

Out-of-this-world emotions. There are places in the world that don’t seem real, but rather the product of a vivid imagination: and there are several such places in Peru—so many, in fact, that some people even believe certain structures were not built by humans, but by some alien race. Wonders such as the lost city of Machu Picchu or the vibrantly colored Rainbow Mountains are sure to leave you speechless, evoking sensations and vibes that truly seem to come from another world.

Traveling with the Incas. The ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu, perched among the rugged peaks of the Andes, has rightfully earned its place on the special list of the New Seven Wonders of the World. But it is the entire Inca culture that continues to fascinate visitors today, with its archaeological sites, jealously guarded rituals, vibrant markets, and indigenous communities that keep their traditions alive: on this journey filled with special encounters, we’ll connect with the most authentic Peruvian spirit, feeling history and legends come to life.

Colorful mountains. But to truly discover why this country is so special, we’ll have to stop and admire its natural wonders—true works of art under the open sky. Places like the Colca Canyon—one of the deepest in the world—or the mirror-like surface of Lake Titicaca will set the stage for what will be the true highlight of our journey: a stop at the Rainbow Mountains of Palccoyo, a spectacular sight of rock streaked with different colors, at an altitude of nearly 5,000 meters in the Andes. This hike isn’t for everyone, but it alone can make the whole trip worthwhile.
