The “Bulgaria: Feast of Roses” tour takes you on a discovery of the most interesting stops in this fascinating Balkan nation, with the added unique opportunity to attend the Rose Festival in Karlovo, an annual event in which the blossoming of roses is celebrated with a large folk festival to celebrate the harvesting of the petals from which local manufactures make renowned products.

Notes
This tour involves departure by plane. You will be able to leave from the airport of your choice, depending also on flight availability, and you will meet the rest of the group and chaperone directly at your destination.
You can make your travel experience even more personal by adding an extension of a few days at the beginning or end of the tour. We then always provide some optional excursions for an even more flexible experience.
At the beginning of the trip, the chaperone will collect the mandatory lump sum of about €40 per person. This amount includes entrance fees to museums, monuments and any taxes to be paid locally. Tips for the driver, escort and local guides are already included in the lump sum.

Rose bloom is a natural event, and the highlight may vary by a few days from the forecast. The trip is scheduled at one of the three flowering times and in conjunction with the traditional Rose Festival.
